Where ever we go we share the driving on a time basis rather than mileage. If we are on a motorway then we travel faster and cover more miles. My wife prefers the motorway. When we drive in France and Switzerland and Germany etc we still share the driving. While one drives the other map reads and yes she is very good at both. By sharing we can cover a lot of miles with less stress.
Quick survey for couples ~ When you go on a car journey, who does most of the driving?
Well, we're about to do a tour around the UK. My fiance's going to do all the driving, mainly because we're in a hire car and because I'm under 24, it would cost like £100 more to put me on the driver list. But otherwise, we'd probably share.
Reply:I do. I get motion sickness sometimes if I don't drive. Also, we always take my car b/c it's only a few years old--his isn't in the best condition. And I think I'm the better driver (but I don't tell him that!) :)
Reply:I like to be the one who drives, I have a better sense of direction and I am able to make a decision faster.
Reply:I do. When I get exhausted my wife drives, usually for only an hour or so, while I nap.
Reply:when we go out together my husband does the driving , he is such a bad passenger, it's easier that way
Reply:Me, I wish my partner have the confidence to use the motorways.
But my partner even tell the Sat Nav is wrong

SURVEY: You've hit a deer and your car is FUBAR...?
Do you do the Snoopy Dance because you've got great car insurance or are you calling all your redneck friends to "git me sum of that there venison steak for a hoedown?"
For the scholars: Is hoedown one or two words?
Personally, I be horrified that I killed a deer...but that's just me.
SURVEY: You've hit a deer and your car is FUBAR...?
'Hoedown' is one word.
Also, would you like to meet up for dinner and a movie tonight?
Reply:I don't get this question i am just plain retarded
Reply:None of the above. I pull out a small glowing sphere, bring the deer back to life, it stumbles away and then I get my BUTT KICKED by nearby rednecks who USED to be my friends and who 'don't cotton ta thet kinda 'havior roun' these parts, yu alien sumbich."
If you get THAT reference, you're either
a) A true moviegoer
b) Over 30.
Reply:this question gets a star because of the "for the scholars" section alone.
kudos to you! i needed a laugh. :D
Reply:i would be horrified i would call my mom or dad and tell them what happened and then i would call some one to remove the deer from the road

Survey- If you cleaned out your car right now, what would be the oddest thing you would find in it?
I found a pair of winter gloves and a pair of mittens -- it was 96 today.
I also found an abundance of rocks, but unlike Futility Knife, this didn't puzzle me in the least. As a matter of fact, there was one that I thought I might keep for my own. (Rocks, it's kind of a genetic obsession.)

i actually have no idea. I think it is in good shape for the first time in a while....

Survey: Have you ever had a police officer search your car, I have.. (read on)?
I was driving from visiting my mom... I was in Texarkana at the time... A police officer pulled me over.
He ordered me out of the car so I did as ordered my friend stayed inside. They questioned me then questioned him to see if our stories matched (they did).
Then they asked if they could search my car. I said, "yes" so we could go on our way. They took out the seats and emptied our suit cases on the ground and found nothing. Then just left everything how it was and left.
We put everything back in order then drove off. 10 minutes later we got pulled over again! For the exact same thing. Same thing as before was demanded of us.
I said, "OMFG 2 of your guys just searched us 10 minutes ago". He said, "well I didn't". I shut up real quick.
What would you have done?
Survey: Have you ever had a police officer search your car, I have.. (read on)?
No.
I wouldn't have consented to the search. If they had probable cause they wouldn't be asking.
You heard wrong, either there is probable cause or there isn't. A warrant won't be issued unless there is (in theory, at least, that's what courts are for after the fact if the power is abused).
Reply:Start singing that boom chick a wah wah song and smiling...
no really, I would... I always get myself into trouble :)
Reply:there are some crooked cops out there, I probably would have kept driving till I reached the nearest police station and then pull over
there's some weird people out on the roads =/
Reply:No that has never happen to me. That is scary tho
Reply:No it has never happened, but a police officer did give me a ride home, I'll tell you about it later.
Reply:Well, as bad a it sounds.........its kind of like being around here as of late. "Guilty till proven innocent!"
Sad, isn't it.....It really is not quite as bad with the Police
as it used to be! On 1 occasion in Arcadia Fl. had a
Cop take my last $20, beat me up, cut my hair, and release me the following morning. Charge "Vagrancy"
I was not a vagrant till he took my money.
Another time, Hitch-hiking to work.6AM Had my hard hat
on and my tool-belt over my shoulder. Was stopped and roughed-up, cuffed, brought back to the County Jail.
Never told what I was accused of, had to get my parents come down and identify me. When I finally found-out why? I fit a description tall, lanky, long blonde-hair, headed east. Asked them about my days wages their reply, none they just laughed!!
Now if that won't leave ya with an attitude!
Reply:I got pulled over once and, with no explanation, asked if they could "look in" my vehicle. Of course, I didn't have a problem with it....my son (age 14) was with me. They did much the same thing - pulled up the folding seats (it was an Isuzu Trooper), lifted up carpet, for goodness sake, and proceeded to PRY the front of the dash off!!!! Yeah, they left my vehicle a big mess, didn't bother to clean it up. The last thing they did was to pour out the coffee creamer I had just bought - it was still sealed.
I went into the station the following day to file a complaint, and the Sargeant said they had probable cause - because I had bought the vehicle from a guy who was, at the time of the search, incarcerated for selling marijuana.
There's sometimes a funny aspect to things - after we got home and got our purchases inside, my son said, "Whew! glad they didn't check the toilet paper!" I had bought a package of 12 rolls, and the dumb kid had stuck a pipe inside the tube of one of the rolls - it had dropped to the bottom of the package!!!!!!! I would have killed him, but I was afraid I'd get pulled over for a random search when I went to dispose of the body. lol

I would have killed him, but I was afraid I'd get pulled over for a random search when I went to dispose of the body. lol

Strings attached survey: If someone off the street gave you your dream car, would you still take it, if...?
Parameters:
a) It could be any car in the world, and money isn't an object.
b)You had to listen to the Friends "themesong" on an endless loop every time you drove it, and had to clap along with the annoying little clap thing at the beginning of it?

Survey: Would you buy a $10,000 USED electric car that goes 25 miles (40 kms) and has 70MPH top speed?
Also, are you aware that any electric vehicle (especially ebikes and electric scooters) can be easily charged from any electric outlet? Example: We have a 150' extension cord that we plug in everywhere, in schools, friends' homes, parks, and while shopping. This "opportunity charging" extends the practical range of our electric pickup truck to almost double, without having to lug around heavy batteries.
http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/1091
Would you buy a similar vehicle? A simple yes/no and your city/country would suffice.
Did you also know that in BC, Canada, some 80% of all electric vehicles are just rusting in fields or storage, unused, for a variety of reasons -- that we have figured out how to fix?
http://ev-diary-experiment.blogspot.com/
If this planet's climate is in deep trouble from fossil-fuels, is "cost" even an issue, in your mind?
Thanks for answering these survey questions!
Survey: Would you buy a $10,000 USED electric car that goes 25 miles (40 kms) and has 70MPH top speed?
I would never buy an electric car. It is ironic about electric cars considering to prevent "global warming" we should cut down on both carbon and wasting electricity and if everyone owned electric cars imagine how much electricity would be used to charge these junk cars. Not to mention the factories they are made in and all the "dangerous pollutants" that come from those.
Reply:I recently bought an electric bike, but I couldn't afford $10,000 for an electric car with just a 25 mile range. I would buy a similar car to the upcoming ZAP-X Crossover which will have a model that can go 100 miles/charge and over 100 mph for $30,000, as that could serve as a primary car.
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/070622/aqf03...
If I had the money I'd consider a 25 mile/charge electric car for $10,000 as a secondary car for short shopping trips and such (Sacramento, CA), but I'm already making payments on a Prius that have me tapped out.
Reply:I wouldn't buy a used electrical car since the battery, which is the most expensive part of the car, has a limited life time. It can be replaced but I would go straight to buying a new one.
Reply:Ok here is my answer.......No, I personally would not because I live in an Apartment building and our cars are parked outside in a parking lot. So there are no electric outlets. So there would be no way to charge it. But yes, I would absolutely buy one if I lived in a house or a rental property with a garage where I could plug it in. I think electric cars are a great idea. And ethanol is a great idea as well.
Reply:25 miles!!! That would mean you could never go more than 12 miles from home!!! Use a bicycle, its cheaper and healthier for you.
Even for communting I need to get over 50 miles per day, so a maximum of 25 miles is really impractical. I would prefer to get 250 miles per charge. Then again I would prefer that the batteries wouldn't cause a landfill problem either. Most exotic batteries are an environmental nightmare.
I think we are still about 10-20 years away from a practical electric car and we would still need some major technical hurdles to overcome.
One promising battery would be this one:
http://www.peswiki.com/index.php/Directo...
If that really works it would do away with the combustion engine.
Reply:Yes. USA, Virginia
Reply:No, they are not the answer. We still need to figure out what to do with all the used batteries.
Reply:My understanding is that people are paying upwards of $50,000 to buy a RAV4 electric. I saw one not to long ago and it was amazing.
The fact is: there is a conspiracy by the oil companies to prevent electric cars from becoming mass production. There are about one trillions barrels of oil in the ground and that translates to about 100 billion dollars in oil revenue. They are not going to let that get away.
The Electric Vehicle has come of age. Advances in battery design make them cheap, practical, and dependable. It is only corporate interests that are preventing people from owning them. GM, Ford, and Crystler are fighting the battle for the oil companies in the corporate boardrooms across America.

Reply:No. $10,000 for a used car is steep and considering a 25 mile range, it's absurd. I'd far sooner add a $5000 bike to my collection, as I can do far more than 25 miles myself and would love to invest in a far nicer bike than the ones that I currently have. I can appreciate the idea of an electric car, but a 25 mile maximum range is going to be a turnoff to probably greater than half the people that might be interested. Heck, my commute is 35 miles roundtrip.
Oh yeah, Seattle, WA.
Reply:No, way to expensive for its limited practicallity. Maybe people at the old folks home would like it.
Reply:No, but I'd pay 30k for 70mph top speed and 120 mile range. I'd also pay to have the EPA law against converting cars to E-85 repealed so I can convert my muscle car.
Cost is an issue for some, but 12.5 miles from home is nothing in the midwest. I'd sacrifice charging anywhere for overnight charging ethically at my house any day. I'd also like laws prohibiting alternative energy sources on residential plots, considered "out buildings" declared unconstitutional and supporting terrorism... hahaha.
Also, I'd like to see an electric lawn tractor in the big chain stores, instead of two little dealers in Canada.

A more responsible charging should be on your dime, no mooching on someone else, your "opportunity charging".
Yes
I would buy a similar vehicle for even $10,000 USD, however not an electric, or any other fossil fuel reliant vehicle.
Orlando, Florida USA
The main reason that electrics will never be a workable solution is in our opinion the poor life of batteries, their weight and irresponsible recycling of batteries of this size.
A key solution to economical and pollution free transportation is with the compressed air car found at: http://www.theaircar.com/
Yes
Cost is still an issue, why would you not only waste our resources but also pay extremely high costs associated with fossil fuel so called solutions?
G.A.S. is the answer - Get Air Sensibly is the solution!
Reply:Your "opportunity charging" sounds like mooching off your friends and stealing from everybody else.
Reply:Actually no. BUT, I would buy it if it went farther. According to that (25 miles) I would have to charge it in the middle of my drive to work. Who wants to have to do all of that? Especially when you're running late or there's an emergency. A full tank of gas can hold you for a week or more sometimes. If the electric car could at least hold me for 3 days, I would DEFINITELY get it. Or even 24 hrs, because at night you could charge it like you charge your cellphone.
Reply:NO! Go to www.teslamotors.com Then you will understand!
Reply:You say you have a 150 foot extension cord that you plug in to schools, friends homes, parks.
That electricity is expensive.
You are stealing power from schools, friends homes and parks.
Would you siphon gasoline from other people's gas tanks?
That is essentially what you are doing when you plug into another person's electrical outlet.
No wonder you like a plug in car. You have other people paying for your electricity.
With respect to your point about fossil fuels, most electricity is generated from fossil fuels, eithr natural gas or coal, so your use of electricity does not reduce the use of fossil fuels.
Reply:25 miles wouldn't get me to work and back. And there is no way I could plug it in at work.
Does it have air conditioning? If not, then no, it was almost 100 degrees here today.
Cost is an issue, we can adapt to change.
So no.

I'd also like laws prohibiting alternative energy sources on residential plots, considered "out buildings" declared unconstitutional and supporting terrorism... hahaha.
Also, I'd like to see an electric lawn tractor in the big chain stores, instead of two little dealers in Canada.
Reply:NO
A more responsible charging should be on your dime, no mooching on someone else, your "opportunity charging".
So no.

Suppose you wanted to determine whether the use of cell phones causes car accidents. Discuss the major limitations and benefits of using the following research methods: naturalistic observation, survey, case study, and experiment.
Suppose you wanted to determine whether the use of cell phones causes car accidents. Discuss the major limitat
naturalistic observation only allows you to observe yourself and those immediately around you, as you can't easily watch people talk on cell phones and have accidents - it's not a large enough sample to be representative.
surveys run the risk of subject dishonesty, as self-reports almost always do, and again have the issue of generating a large enough sample to be statistically representative.
case study runs the risk of assuming that correlation equals causation (someone had an accident while talking on a cell phone, therefore the cell phone caused the accident... never you mind that the accident consisted of the guy hitting a moose while driving through Vermont in a snowstorm...)
experiment runs the risk of harming the subject (by causing someone a car accident!) and therefore is probably unethical.
Reply:best way to research is install a remote camera. and monitor a intersection. or you could investigate accidents and try to find out if their phone was in a conversation at the time of the crash.

It happened to me earlier today, I went down to the store, and I forgot the keys in the car :[
Survey: Have you ever locked yourself out of the car?
I've locked myself out of my car more times than I can count. One time, and I have no idea why I did this, I locked the door and as I was shutting it I just threw my keys on the drivers seat. No clue what I was thinking there.
Reply:I did that a few weeks ago. It's always kinda embarassing...but it's alright if there's somewhere to wait. I got locked out of my car at the mall so I had a lot to do while I waited to have my extra set of keys brought to me. :)

My neighbor built a car port on the property i received 7 years ago, got survey,is therea10yr grandfatherclaus
is there a 10 yr. grandfather clause. it is doing property damage to my driveway, i have a handicap child so we plan to put a cement driveway but i need his car port moved. all the rain water drains at least 1 foot over on my property. code compliance says civil court matter. is there a clause on how long the car port has been there. it is in very poor shape, fell once barely standing now. we are in texas. i have pictures and video of the rain and the damage. do i have a case
My neighbor built a car port on the property i received 7 years ago, got survey,is therea10yr grandfatherclaus
If he built on your property, then you have the right to have it removed. Your property is your property and a 10 year grandfather clause, if there is one, would not apply. Your property deed and city/county property and tax records will provide proof of ownership.
If he belly aches about it, then ask your neighbor for a copy of car port's building permit and proof he owns the property.
Reply:You had better act now. The longer you allow him to remain on your land the stronger his position becomes. In fact, if he goes to court first, the court could award him the land under an "adverse possession" claim.
Reply:If it is definitely on your property, give him notice to remove it. ~
If he doesn't, rent a bulldozer and move it yourself onto his property. Then the ball is in HIS court and he'll have to decide if he wants to sue you.
Check local law for statute of limitation, IF an ungranted use of your property gives rights (easement) to the trespasser after a given length of time.
Reply:How long you owned the property is irrelevent. The important question is how long is how long the car port has been there.
Assuming there is a 10 year statute of limitation for tresspass to land (it vary state by state, I have no idea what it is in TX) and the carport has been there for more than 10 years your neighbor now owns that land throught adverse possession.
You might have a case, contact an atty in Texas.
Do not rent a bulldozer and do it yourself.

Survey: Having a dent in your car, how do you feel about it ?
Some people hate even the smallest dent in their car, others do not care too much, again others might feel it gives the car character, uniqueness or may even look cute. What are your thoughts, how do you feel about it ?
Survey: Having a dent in your car, how do you feel about it ?
Oh you dont even wanna know....driving down a street where there is a grocery store...well to get in the grocery store theres a large hill. Well as i am driving 40 miles per hour down the road past this hill to the grocery store out comes this grocery cart down the hill towards me. It slammed into the back passenger door and basically caved it in. Yeah lets just say that i am not in the least bit happy about it. And the grocery store says they wont pay for the damage because it wasnt on their property and there are signs posted for them not being responsible for carts being left un attended...well im still fighting with them over that!!!

Survey: How much would you be willing to spend (maximum) on gasonline (in US dollars)?

Buy more efficient car
Public Transportation
Sacrifice other activities financially to compensate for budget constraints

Survey: How much would you be willing to spend (maximum) on gasonline (in US dollars)?
I have 2 children so I need my car and would spend whatever gas costs to do what I need to do.
My car is paid off, pretty good on gas and I don't want a new bill so I wouldn't buy another car just for more gas mileage.
Public transportation doesn't exist where I live unless I walk for 3 miles to the stop and that can't happen, never mind trying to lug 12-15 bags of groceries home on a bus with a 3 yr old, it just doesn't make since.
Sacrifice other activities? I do so little extra trying to live responsibly that I don't have much to give up.
I recycle and do what I can so my final answer is that I would pay for gas no matter how much it cost because it is just like a roof over my head, a necessity.
Reply:I would pay just about the max we pay now $3/gallon, but I would also stop driving to random places on weekends, up the coast for "some air", and would start shopping or running errands all at once instead of here and there.
I live in LA where there is a somewhat decent public transportation system.
-To get to my job 3 miles away I would have to take 3 buses and it would take about an hour due to the route schedule.
- I could ride a bike, but frankly I'm scared I'd get run over
- Based on my work schedule I would have a hard time finding a carpool buddy, but it would not be impossible
-I could walk but don't want to because I'm lazy, I admit it, plus I work the afternoon/evening shift and would have to walk home in the dark or catch the buses in the dark.
If I worked somewhere whee they had a carpool program or reimbursed for public transportation and a bus stop outside I'd do it, but right now all the driving I can afford to save is the recreational driving, not get to work commuting.
Reply:it has passed my maximum limit long ago......I only pay it because I have no other choice.......I only drive when absolutely necessary.....but I must still drive to %26amp; from work, all trip,s to any store,s are incorporated allong the way.....if I could retire...I would give up my car %26amp; get a bicycle or walk whenever possible................................... a good one tronary...I didnt catch that one!
Reply:The price of gasoline in the US has already soared beyond what I would be "willing" to pay for it. However, from all signs, it will eventually rise higher. A more efficient car might be the way to go; however, if it means getting a very small car, then the chances of dying or being seriously injuried in an auto accident also rise. Public transportation in many cities is out of the question, due to poor planning on the part of the cities providing it. It is also not always reliable, and the stations are often frequented by those of dubious nature. One must also consider family matters when using public transportation or carpooling. It is not always possible to respond quickly should an emergency arise and one needs to reach home. If it is imparative to have a vehicle, and a necessity to drive it to work or elsewhere, then budget constraints appear to be the most logical option.

Reply:My vehicle holds about 50 gallons of gas so I pay about $75.00 at the pump now. I guess I'd spend $150.00 if it goes that high. I can't do a thing I need a handicapped equipped vehicle. Guess I'll have to cut out some food or meds.
Per gal, whatever it takes, it's that or going on welfare and living off other people and I don't want to do that.
Reply:I wasn't aware you could buy "gasonline"
Reply:When I went over to Switzerland there were alot of small cars there, and most buses ran on electricity. I would buy a more efficient car since the exhaust from buses are so bad.
Reply:Good question. It sucks because I'd have to pay almost whatever price b/c I gotta get to work to pay my rent! I'd like to buy a more efficient car but I don't have the money, and taking the bus would cut into my time. So.....I'd have to say $8.00? I dunno I would probably only do important driving.
Reply:Yeah people complain about the gas price, but they are still buying plenty of it right? We can gripe and complain all we want, but we are still going to buy it no matter what the cost is. We all depend on our cars to get us where we need to go. We might not joyride as much as we would like but we still have places we need to go and not everyone will ride public transportation. Geez, i live in the same town as the second biggest Air Force Base in America and I don't think we even have public transportation. I know I would never ride a bus. I have an Escape ( an SUV) and yes the gas sucks but i still drive and fill it up and drive and fill it up...
Reply:NO MORE THAN $5 A GALLON. Not sure how the Europeans do it, they have been paying over $5 for years.
I would not drive as much, cut-back on my road trips. Turn the a/c off. Empty the trunk so that the only weight is the car and myself.
I already have a small car and would never get a MONSTER/BULLY TRUCK/GAS GUZZLER. All those fools with massive cars are paying up the you know WHAT for gas, their choice.
Reply:I would be willing to spend $1.50 per gallon of gasoline.
I am not WILLING to pay the prices at the pumps these days, but I have no choice . . .

Quick survey: Is there anyone who might feel that sometimes dents in a car can be exciting or sexy ?
Mostly people seem to think of a dent in a car as unsightly, but could there be a different view out there that some have about certain dents or scratches that they might find exciting or sexy ?
Quick survey: Is there anyone who might feel that sometimes dents in a car can be exciting or sexy ?
Dents in a car...? No, not really. I do think they can be fixed or repaired, though.
Reply:I think its quite cute. It makes the car different and shows it has some history. I don't like things that are perfect, they make me nervous!
Reply:Um...not me lol. I hate dents. Interesting question, though lol.
Reply:depends on where you find the dent baby! whoa!
Reply:DEPENDS if the dent in Question is caused by the vehicle hitting you or not really! but to be serious NO THEY AINT BIG AND THEY AINT CLEVER!
Reply:Sometimes. if it's small then no really and as long as the car is nice as well it is.
Reply:I think "drunk driver" when I see dents, especially sideswipes - no, not sexy at all
Reply:I am aroused by a dirty tailpipe.
Reply:Uhhh... No.
Reply:I think your ultimate question is about the "sexyness" of SIN (including the sex sins) represented by the "deflowering" of an unspoiled vehicle, with a virgin paint job!
I think God knew it would be very tempting to see the diference between good and evil.
Like a good parent, He said "No...no!!!", just as we tell our little ones not to run in front of cars that go past our home, even if it is fun and exciting.
But He did not make us robots or puppets.
He let us learn, the hard way, when WE disobeyed His wise command, and tasted evil to see how "exciting or sexy" it was.
I expect we will NOT have that "freedom" to choose evil in heaven, which we take for granted on this sin-cursed earth.
Instead we will be (really) FREE of it's hold on us. That freedom FROM sin and addiction trumps the sinful freedom to choose evil.
By the time we get there, our curiosity about evil will be over forever. I can stand to live without sin and evil already!
Life eternal, with "JUST" good, and no sinfull alternatives, will not seem boring at all, remembering the blood %26amp; tears of earth!
Sin's alure will eventually wear thin, even for YOU hopefully, and we'll happily accept God's prohibition of evil, as right %26amp; wise, and NOT "unfair" or restrictive at all!
He is an all wise, all seeing, all powerful perfect Father/Mother. I don't JUST believe in Him...I believe Him...I believe the Word of God!!!
I trust HIM! Turn from sexy sins of this world. You will never regret a clean conscience!
Reply:Wow, then my car must be a rolling orgasm!
Reply:Possibly a few people who need medication.
You can count me out.
Reply:boy..ill tell ya..ppl these days!
Reply:Are you the same person who likes eye patches or knife scars? Dents in a car are not sexy, the only people they seem to impress are the body shop estimators.
Reply:Sexy, no!! Poor Driving, Yes, yes, yes!!!
Reply:I don't see it. Makes your car rust quicker as well if the the paint and primer are removed.
Reply:Not really...
Especially if its one of those old big cars with mold on it. Ew.
But, I'd never hate someone because they're car isn't new and... undented. :P
Reply:the only time i seen a dent on hood was sexy--was when we made whoopie on hood and she left butt prints

You can count me out.

At first I felt upset but it is small and not really noticeable so if anyone mentions it I tell them it is that my car didn't want to look like everyone elses so it has it's own character now. It has a dimple.
Reply:I used to have a 96 Honda Accord. My dad dented its side five years before I even got my permit and never fixed it. The dent was not huge but it was not tiny. He later gave me the car. With the dent.
I hated having a dented car that I did not dent. The concept just annoyed me. But, because it was a common car and color, I could easily find it in parking lots. When I moved I was holding a box and used the dent to help hold it up while I opened the door. And the dent made my car unique. It had character =)
Two weeks ago I got a BEAUTIFUL and new Honda civic. If someone so much as touches it they will suffer.
Reply:I only ever buy cheap cars so I never have to worry about any of that nonsense. I don't care about character or cuteness, as long as it runs and looks pointless to steal, that does me fine.
Reply:having a dent on my car, done by others, i hate it.. after awhile the dents become rusty and it all makes my car look like a piece of junk.. 3 hits and no apologies .. bummer ...
Reply:Dents in the car is a fact of life. I think nothing of it unless it is a really nasty one. The only way to prevent dents is to keep it home in the garage. That is not going to happen.
Reply:I have no feelings about a dent in the car. But, you posted this question under "Beauty %26amp; Style"!
Reply:I drive a 5 year old Ford F250 Crew Cab 4x4. This is the BIG boy. It's like parking a battleship.
I've got a nice scrape on the left most front bumper. It's been there about 4 years. I think my kids put it there, but who knows.
I've got a dent which I actually saw happen: a friend of mine backed into my parked truck with her mini-van.
I've got a few other nicks and scrapes and scars here and there.
I used to obsess over things like this, I used to completely freak out. NOW, especially since I have no car payments for the first time in 23 years, it's not such a big deal. IN fact, I am reluctant to buy anything new, as I don't want to go ballistic every time some little thing happens to the paint.
Reply:I use my vehicle strictly for transportation and not style, so I really don't care if I have a dent in it. In fact, I do!
