Is it a comfortable car important than a cool n expensive car?
My criteria are comfort, reliability, and fun to drive. If the seats are not comfortable and interior not roomy enough for my slightly over 6 ft height and size 13 shoes, I will not even consider the vehicle. Although, I might make exeptions for the narrow seats in a Lotus Exige, because its "fun to drive" component is way up there (I instructed a student with one at an autocross).
My actual choices are a anonymous looking, comfortable, reliable, fun to drive, economical, 95 Nissan Maxima 5-speed I bought in May 94, and a used 2001 Pathfinder for winter that I bought in 2004. I tend to drive quickly, but safely (competition driving experience), but prefer not to be the flashy rabbit that attracts the eyes of the law.

I drove a Dodge Charger when they came out and although a good looking "cool" car. The seats were horrible they cut off circulation to my legs....
So I go for comfort over Style. I drive a Grand Prix a Pantera, a Ford Ranger and an old escort. All very comfortable. Although I did put new seats in the Pantera.

Reply:I believe a car can be both. My Mercedes and BMW's are totally hot, comfortable, but yes, they are expensive. But my 2 corvettes are also in my opinion, cool, have lots of leg room, and are not as expensive.

How does one report a mapping mistake on car satellite navigation systems?
Visitors / workmen using our lane, which is one way, are being misdirected to an 'exit only' entrance by their sat navs. Whose responsibilty is it ? Local Authority, Highways Dept , Sat Nav producers or Ordnance Survey . Whose data is the definitive one. How can we report it? Even our own sends us to the wrong entrance!

4. Throw it in the trash can if it's trash, but if it's something recyclable and there's no bin for that, i just leave it in my bag to recycle later at home
5. Yes; 2 different trash cans-one for trash one for recyclables.
6. I have replaced [almost] every single light bulb in my house with the spiral energy efficient ones. I'm very proud of myself. :-)

3.Auto..I wait until I have at least three errands to run (i have small children) if it's within a block or two I will walk to the next place.
4.I try to get paper bags for trash and if I see aluminum/plastic bottles (within a few feet of where I am) I will pick them up and throw them in canvas bag I keep in the car
5. Yes..i reuse newspaper, use canvas or paper bags when I grocery shop as much as I can..when I do use plastic collect a lot and take them back to the store to be recycled. I also fill empty gallon juice bottles with water and stick them in my fridge. (Cold drinking water and helps my fridge run more effieciently) Use both sides of writing paper as much as possible. The trick is to keep it simple so you can incorporate it into your life without thinking. Keep the canvas bags in the car...when the old light bulb goes out, replace it with a CFL instead...
6. The CFL ones..you can buy them at the dollartree for a buck..sometimes even two for a dollar.
7.9..I live in one of the worst areas in the country in terms of air quality.
8.Crime is right up there..but if you can't breathe a good deep breath.....it's kinda hard to focus on other things!
p.s. to me recycling and saving energy are the same thing..they both allow us to better share the resources we have....they also both save money!

Crimes against environmental laws are also crimes, teenagers with drug issues often don't care about the environment, put them back straight and they'll be able to help too. yES HE was injured I was okay

Yes years ago and about 1973, a buddy of mine was driving and hit a telephone pole on the passengers side. Both of us were injured and needed some stitches at the hospital.
