Survey: Have you ever been in a car accident where you were the passenger of the car that caused the crash?

Yes when I was 9 years old. My uncle was driving while holding a conversation with me. Unfornately he wasn't coordinated enough to do both. So he ended up hitting an elderly driver. My younger brother was 2 years old at the time and was sitting on my lap. Luckily no one was hurt because if me or my brother were injured my mom would've had my uncles @$$.

yes and the female passenger beside me in the back was killed,and it was the drivers fault we were getting a lift home from a party.and he went to prison for dangerous driving.
Reply:I was in 2 major ones in my life...but the most recent my boyfriend and i were driving over a freinds house, he was driving and we were turning into my friends driveway waiting for cars to pass by in the other lane and all the sudden we got slammed in the rear and it spun my car around across the road into the dirt. We thought a truck hit us, but actually it was a motorcycle. He flew over my car and landed in the road. It was really scary to see him laying there, but fortunately he didnt die he got really messed up though. We were fine as well. It was very very scary.

Reply:yup sure was. My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I were in a car accident about 3 years ago. He was driving and was playing around and didn't notice that the car in front of him was turning. I tried to yell out his name to get him to slow down but everything happened pretty quickly. He hit the car in front, they crashed into a light pole in front of a neighborhood and he turned to me and asked if I was ok. I was, he was, and thankfully the two people in the car he hit were fine too.
Reply:I've been the driver of a car in an accident - the cause was an oak tree branch which dropped on a car in a long line of traffic during a storm. I skidded along the road but couldn't stop in time and neither could the guy behind me.


I went home and told my husband that I'd changed my car for something smaller!
