Hell no I had to work for my first car, they can do the same

SURVEY: When your child turns 16, will you buy them a car?
Depends on what type of child she becomes, and whether she's earned my trust enough to deserve a car. We've told our daughter if she doesn't become a responsible teenager, we will just get her a rusted bike as transportation.
Reply:absolutley! then i wont have to transport them back forth for 4 hrs every weekend. well, i wont buy her NEW one, but she will get one of ours . i dont even get a new car, b/c my driving skills....well...arent the best.
Reply:Probably not. I would hope he would want to do the same thing I did when I was 16. Save up money and buy his first car. He would appreciate it more.
Reply:If his grades are good and he is responsible I will. It will come with conditions like keeping grades up, no drinking, wearing s seat belt, etc.

They will be buying their own car the way I did and my parents did and their parents before them did.
Reply:It depends on how much money I'll have when I'm old enough to have a sixteen year old daughter lol.

well right now I don't think I'll have children, but if I changed my mind in the future and I had children then yes, I think I would buy them a car
Reply:No they can buy it themselves, They need to learn responsiblity and that money does not grow on trees. Just like i did.
Reply:i won't have to, my dad said he wanted to buy all his grandkids their first car, just like he bought all of ours.

Reply:Not until they can pay for half of it %26amp; half of the insurance....as well as money for gas. My kids don't get anything for free.
