and did you know that a recent study found that the dirtiest and most bacteria covered surface was a supermarket trolley handle,,it was several times dirtier than the inside of a public lavatory bowl,


So would you now wash your hands before tucking into a nice sandwich?

ew gross! come to think of it, it would do think of all those people going to the loo and then not washing their hands and then handling the trolley handle! it be covered in, urine,dirt,baby/child snot (sorry) never thought of it this way! i'll be washing my hands b4 tucking into my tescos sarnies in future!

Meh, I only wash my hands when they feel dirty to me, which honestly doesn't take much...lol but still. A shopping cart wouldn't make me feel as though I should wash my hands, unless it was greasy or something.





I'd rather give my body at least some bacteria to fight against...





I also never get sick. :P
Reply:I do wash my hands before eating. If soap and water isn't available, I use hand wash from the bottle that I keep in my purse. I work in a hospital and realize how dirty things are so I do take precautions even though my body can handle most of the shitz it comes in contact with.

Reply:Ewww Mr President - what a horrible thought!! I always wash my hands anyway though before I eat anything, and I like to have a cup of tea and a cake BEFORE I start my shopping!! Yuk! I shall be taking my Marigold's to Morrisons now lol! :o) xxxxx

We live a 30 minute drive from the supermarket (19 miles away), so we always head straight back home to get the frozen stuff back quickly.


Having said that there's a lot to be said for .com shopping.
Reply:umm ya i always wash my hands or use sanitizer b4 but den again bacteria is everywhere and the bacteria in ur mouth id say is just as nasty or worse and we readily make out with ppl ...so id say thats more gross but we still do it!!--%26gt;dont be a fricken germophobe!!

I used to have a cafe and Mr. B is an ex publican. We both have food hygiene certificates.


Which explains why we go home to eat!
Reply:i dont eat out, i wait till i go home to eat, yes and peanuts on a pub bar top in a dish has trillions of germs on them! how many wash their hands coming out of a pub toilet? got you thinking there!
Reply:I always wash my hands! Washing your hands more often can really help reduce the amount of times you get sick!
Reply:Yes ..I heard that too... when you see some of the dirty mingers with their dirty fingers ..and the ones who let their toddlers stand in the trolley I am not ruddy surprised ... I always wash my hands before I eat ANYTHING ....!!!

Reply:I heard that too - I have a bottle of that hand sanitiser and always use it before touching trolleys, going in public toilets etc...I think I may be slightly OCD....
