Most modern cars have alarm/immobiliser fitted as standard nowadays, usually with some sort of chip in the key as well. That's what mine has, and it's so much more reliable than the older, after-market devices you used to get, which would wake up the whole street everytime a bird sh*t on the roof!
Reply:i dont have a car but fake alarms crook locks etc etc are all deterents
if the opportunist thief sees crook locks alarm led's they will more than likely find an easier target
